No. 529/Bill No. 168 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 12:45 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai'i County Council <br /> Hilo, 1-Iawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 168, reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 168, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 529, <br /> dated October 31, 2005, amends Ordinance No. 05-87, as amended, the Capital Budget, ending <br /> June 30, 2006, by adding the following project: <br /> PUBLIC WORKS: <br /> Kaumana Drive Flood Protection - Federal 110.299.5299.62 $300,000 <br /> Funds for this project shall be provided from: <br /> Federal Grants Receivable $300,000 <br /> The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will <br /> reimburse the County of Hawai`i for consultant fees necessary to prepare a plan to provide flood <br /> protection to homes along Kaumana Drive between Chong Street and one-half mile above <br /> Wilder Road.
