M~ <br /> "•6~ <br /> Q: ~G i <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ..:y <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3 ' ~ ~ 6 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRIl`]G/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAMF, TO <br /> A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, the construction of a comfort station is greatly needed at the Waiakea-Uka <br /> Park as it is heavily used during the weekends and evenings; and <br /> WHEREAS, the only restroom facility for park users is located in the Stanley <br /> Costales Waiakea-Uka Gym, which is not always available for public use; and <br /> WHEREAS, $140,000 have already been appropriated for the Waiakea-Uka Park <br /> Comfort Station project; and <br /> WHEREAS, bids for the project have been coming in high, so additional funds <br /> <br /> would help speed up the process by allowing smaller contractors to also bid on thejob; and <br /> WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated towards <br /> <br /> the Waiakca-Uka Park Comfort Station project at the request of the Department of Parks and <br /> Recreation. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set <br /> forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> ~1MOiJNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $70,000.00 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $70,000.00 <br /> CREDl"fED TO: <br /> 010.801.5801.33 Department of Parks and Recreation $70,000.00 <br /> Transfer to Capital Project Fund <br /> (Waiakea-Uka Park Comfort Station <br /> 1 10.599.5591.91) <br /> <br />
