Higa <br /> and Members of the Hawaii County Council <br /> County of Hawaii <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> <br /> RE: A resolution authorizing the sale of Tax Map Key: (3)7-6-013:017 as a Remnant Parcel. <br /> <br /> For your consideration, I have prepared a resolution authorizing the sale of Tax Map <br /> Key: (3)7-6-013:017 as a Remnant Parcel. <br /> <br /> The County of Hawaii is the owner of that certain parcel of land, being Lot 1, between Kailua- <br /> Keauhou Road and Kailua-Keauhou Middle Road, at Holualoa I" and 2"d, North Kona, Hawaii, <br /> futher identified as Tax Map Key: (3)7-6-013:017. <br /> <br /> The County of Hawaii acquired the parcel on January 6, 1969 from L.S. Dillingham, C.W. <br /> Carlsmith, B.F. Dillingham, and Donn W. Carlsmith, for the proposed Kailua Fire Station site. <br /> <br /> In 1973, the County constructed a new Kailua Fire Station on Palani Road and no long has plans <br /> to utilize Lot 1 for any of its programs.
