Angel Pilago, br <br /> Council Member, District 8 <br /> <br /> RE: Bill 305, Draft 2 - Applicant: Ivan Mochida <br /> Change of Zone Application; Tax Map Key: 2-2-36: 102, 103 <br /> Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii <br /> Attached for your consideration is Bill 305, Draft 2 that sets forth amendments proposed by applicant and <br /> approved at the Committee on Planning meeting held on October 18, 2006 and is being submitted "by <br /> request." <br /> <br /> Bill 305, Draft 2 presents the following amendments: <br /> <br /> Condition E - amendments relating to the maximum number of residential units and a minimum number <br /> of off-street guest parking stalls. Condition E, as amended, shall read in its entirety, as follows: <br /> <br /> As represented by the applicant, the maximum number of residential units on the subject <br /> site shall not exceed twenty-four (24). Off-street parking shall be provided, calculated at two (2) <br /> parking spaces per unit. Furthermore, there shall be a minimum of eight (8) off-street guest <br /> stalls. These stalls, such as tandem, need not fully conform to the parking standards of the <br /> zoning code." <br /> Condition J - adds a new Condition J relating to roadway and related improvements along Laukapu <br /> Street and provides a time limit within which to complete such improvements. New Condition J, as <br /> amended, shall read in its entirety, as follows: <br /> <br /> As represented by the applicant, the applicant shall provide roadway and related <br /> improvements along the Laukapu Street frontages of properties identified by TMK: 2-2-36: 105, <br /> 101, and 100, subiect to the respective property owners' consent and agreement to relinquish and <br /> dedicate a five-foot strip of its property along Laukapu Street.
