No. 494-06 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 9:00 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 494-06, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 494-06, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 354 by Director of Finance <br /> William Takaba, via Communication No. 1141, dated October 16, 2006, authorizes the Office of <br /> the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State of Hawaii Department of Defense, State <br /> Civil Defense, for the FY 2006 Homeland Security Grant Program. <br /> The State of Hawaii Department of Defense, State Civil Defense has authorized its FY2006 <br /> Homeland Security Grant Program funding of $1,138,582 for the Hawaii County Civil Defense <br /> Agency. These program funds are to be used for the continued development of three (3) <br /> programs: 1) State Homeland Security Program (SHSP); 2) Law Enforcement Terrorism <br /> Prevention Program (LETPP); and 3) Citizen Corps Program (CCP).
