Subsequent to <br /> publication of the article in West Hawaii Today, we received a listing of the <br /> positions to be un-funded that came from the news reporter. While we have not <br /> seen an amendment or been contacted by Mr. Yagong, we have concerns about <br /> losing funding for authorized positions in this and other departments. <br /> A specific concern of the Finance Department is that a Clerk III position, 00- <br /> 04247, in the Treasury Division is included in the list of positions to be un-funded. <br /> The position is currently vacant, but interviews for this position were held on May <br /> 15t" and 16~' and the selected candidate has been notified, passed her physical <br /> and is scheduled to begin employment with the County on June 18, 2007.
