NO. 899 i BILL NO. 267 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 9:00 a.m. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks, to which was referred Communication No. 899, <br /> and attached Bill No. 267, reports as follows: <br /> The purpose of Bill No. 267 is to amend Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24-260 and <br /> 24-263 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 Edition), to reduce the speed limit on a segment <br /> of Waikoloa Road trom 55 miles per hour to 45 miles per hour. <br /> Communication No. 899 is from Chief Engineer Donna Fay K. Kiyosaki, Department of Public <br /> Works, dated June 19, 1998 stating that the Engineering Division has informed her that a section <br /> of Waikoloa Road within Federal Aid Project No. STP-0191 (002) has a design speed of 50 mile <br /> per hour.
