Yamashiro, dated May 20, 1998, reports as follows: <br /> The purpose of Communication No. 867 is to recommend the appointment of the following <br /> individual as a member of the Hawaii County Board of Appeals: <br /> Mr. Patrick G. Edie of Ka'u, is nominated to fill the vacancy created by the unexpired <br /> term ending December 31, 1999, of Deanna Hammersley of Kona who resigned on <br /> May 13, 1998 because she is leaving the County for an extended period of time. <br /> Mr. Edie, of no political affiliation, is a 28-yeaz resident of Hawaii.
