No. 580 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 10:50 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred, Communication No. 580 reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 580, transmitted by Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated November 12, 1997, <br /> nominates Mr. William F. Green, of Hilo, to the Hawaii County Tax Boazd of Review. <br /> A lifetime resident of Hawaii, Mr. Green will replace Bill Thibadeau whose term will expire on <br /> December 31, 1997. Mr. Green has been the owner/president of PCI Chemical Corporation. <br /> Previously, he was employed by Allied Machinery and Castle and Cook. He sits on the board of the <br /> Hilo Yacht Club and an officer of the Hilo Stroke Club of the American Heart Association. A <br /> Democrat, he will serve a term to end on December 31, 2002. <br /> Mr. Green presently serves on the Hawaii County Boazd of Appeals and will end his tenure on <br /> December 31, 1997. <br /> Pursuant to Section 19-96 of the Hawaii County Code, there shall be a boazd of review for the county <br /> whose members shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council as provided by <br /> Section 13-4 of the Hawaii County Charter. <br /> Your Committee on Finance recommends confirmation of the appointment of Mr. William F.
