An application from the owner dated July 28'h, <br /> 2008, and copies of the construction plans are attached as supporting material. <br /> The sewer extension project is intended to serve parcel 2-4-001:005 (site of the future U.S. China Center). <br /> The applicant will bear the total cost of the construction. The work will consist of installing a new <br /> sewerline in Kawili Street parallel to an existing sewerline that is owned and maintained by the County of <br /> Hawaii. The existing sewerline currently services existing properties along. Kawili Street. A typical <br /> sewer lateral connection to parcel 2-4-001:005 is not feasible due to inadequate sewer capacity in the <br /> existing sewerline. <br /> <br /> There is currently no anticipation of additional sewer connections along Kawili Street in the foreseeable <br /> future. Therefore, no other properties are being made accessible to the new sewerline.
