" <br /> I <br />/" , .....,,,;- <br /> ~) <br /> CD <br /> <br />Date: <br /> <br />September 21, 2009 <br /> <br />Subject: A Bill for an Ordinance to Amend the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 14, Article 1, Sections <br />14-2 and 14-2.2; Relating to Consumption ofIntoxicating Liquors at the Isaac Kepo'okalani <br />Hale Beach Park <br /> <br />Attached please find for your review a bill changing alcohol consumption provisions for Isaac <br />Kepo'okalani Hale Beach Park. <br /> <br />The bill removes the current provision allowing consumption of alcohol from 10:00 a.m. through <br />10:00 p.m. The bill further amends the County Code to require a permit for consumption of alcoholic <br />beverages at Isaac Kepo'okalani Hale Beach Park. The permitted hours would be from 10:00 a.m. <br />through 10:00 p.m.; permits obtained via the provisions of section 14-3. <br /> <br />The ordinance would take effect on January 4,2010. <br /> <br />Please place this bill on the appropriate committee agenda for those meetings scheduled for October 6, <br />2009.
