"" --.... <br />''''.C'.:' ...:',:.,..... <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />329"'(98 <br /> <br />, . <br />, . .,' , ,", . <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THESALARY"ORDINANCE9~;'5fBY DELETING SECTION <br />. 8.02(c) MASS TRANSPORTATION AGENCY, OFFICE OF THE MAYOR. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 76-77(1), Hawaii Revised Statutes, relating to civil <br /> <br /> <br />service and exemptions, provides for the exemption of positions in the office of <br /> <br />the mayor, but that these positions shall be included in the civil service position <br /> <br />classification plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, classification action was taken to reallocate and to classify <br /> <br />the Mass Transit Assistant position to the County Transportation Specialist; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 3-13, Hawaii County Charter, provides for interim <br /> <br />amendments to the Salary Ordinance to be made by resolution; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br /> <br />HAWAII that Section 8.02(c) Mass Transportation Agency, Office of the Mayor <br /> <br />be deleted in its entirety, and that subsequent items in Section 8.02 Office of <br /> <br />the.Mayor be renumbered; <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be trarismitted to <br /> <br />the Office of the Mayor, the Director of Finance, and the Personnel Director." <br />
