No. 744/Bill No. 219 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 219, reports as follows: <br />Bill No. 219, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 315 -10, by Director of Finance <br />Nancy Crawford, via Communication No. 744 dated March 3, 2010, amends Ordinance No. 09 -64, <br />as amended, the Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2010. The amendment is as follows: <br />FROM: <br />3308.27 Federal Grants — <br />Sexual Violence Prevention & Planning General $ 9,900 <br />TOTAL $ 9,900 <br />TO: <br />010.271.5271.80 Sexual Violence Prevention & Planning General $ 9,900 <br />TOTAL $ 9,900 <br />The Hawai`i Office of the Prosecuting Attorney participated in the development of the statewide <br />Sexual Violence Prevention and Planning project and is now receiving funding to build capacity and <br />prepare Hawai`i County for its implementation. These monies, derived from Federal funds, will <br />support Area Strategic Work Group sessions, capacity building workshops, and participation in the <br />Sexual Violence Primary Prevention Implementation Committee and facilitator training on Oahu. <br />Pursuant to Section 46 -7, Hawai`i Revised Statutes, and Section 13- 13(b), Hawaii County Charter, <br />the Mayor is hereby authorized to apply for, receive and expend the funds for the Sexual Violence <br />Prevention & Planning program. <br />FC Rept.
