Sako <br />Deputy Director <br />("V <br />0 <br />,) <br />en <br />z) rn <br />S <br />The State of Hawai'i Department of Health's Maternal & Child Health Branch has <br />authorized funding of $9,900 to the Hawaii Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for the <br />Sexual Violence Prevention and Planning project. The Office of the Prosecuting <br />Attorney participated in the development of the statewide Sexual Violence Primary <br />Prevention Plan and is now receiving funding to build capacity and prepare Hawaii <br />County for its implementation. These monies, derived from Federal funds, will support <br />Area Strategic Work Groups sessions, capacity building workshops, and participation in <br />the Sexual Violence Primary Prevention Implementation Committee and facilitator <br />training on Oahu. <br />Enclosed is a resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State <br />of Hawaii Department of Health. <br />Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating <br />the $9,900 to the Sexual Violence Prevention and Planning account. <br />If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Office of the Prosecuting <br />Attorney. <br />r1 <br />7 ti-ti <br />FL <br />MAR 9 4 MU <br />
