This project provides for the <br /> much needed repairs and upgrades to the facilities at Keokea Beach Park which has been <br /> out of service to the public since the October 6, 2006 Kiholo Bay earthquake. It will also <br /> provide design and construction funds to replace the condemned grandstand structure at <br /> Kamehameha Park with a new covered spectator area serving the primary ball fields there. <br /> Furthermore, there are additional repair and upgrade efforts required at numerous <br /> recreational facilities in the district which this appropriation will attempt to address based <br /> on departmental priorities and funding availability. <br /> If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Parks and <br /> Recreation. <br /> 6/41Xi ?C <br /> Nancy E.
