No. 142-11 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> West Hawaii Civic Center <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 11:07 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 142-11, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 142-11, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 92, by Finance Director Nancy <br /> Crawford via Communication No. 347, dated September 7, 2011, authorizes the acceptance of a <br /> monetary donation of$750 from the Friends of the Children's Justice Center, East Hawai`i to the <br /> Hawaii Police Department to help cover the costs to bring a canine trainer to Hilo to work with <br /> a dog and handler. <br /> There was no discussion on this measure. <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawai`i County Charter the Council, on behalf of the <br /> County, may accept gifts or donations of money. <br /> A letter of appreciation and a copy of this resolution will be sent to the Friends of the Children's <br /> Justice Center, East Hawaii, at P.O.
