. �\'1►- `I <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII •: STAT E OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 185 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5 OF THE HAWAII <br /> COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO PARKING. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure is to address the Hawai`i Police Department's <br /> concerns in this area and their desire to convert this part of Ka`ahumanu Place to a non stopping, <br /> standing or parking zone instead. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24-280, Schedule 28. No parking at <br /> anytime, subsection (f), Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 edition, as amended), is amended <br /> to read as follows: <br /> (f) Kona <br /> (1) Ali`i Drive in Kailua-Kona, makai side, from a point approximately four hundred <br /> feet south of Hualalai Road to the junction of Ali`i Drive with Kailua-Keauhou <br /> Middle Road, in the vicinity of the Kona Hilton Hotel. <br /> (2) Ali`i Drive, makai side, for a distance of one hundred feet on either side of each <br /> driveway into Kahalu`u Beach Park. <br /> (3) Ali`i Drive in Kailua-Kona, makai side, between Kailua Bay Wharf and Hualalai <br /> Reef Road. <br /> (4) Ali`i Drive in Kona, makai side, beginning at a point one hundred thirty feet south <br /> of the southern driveway of the Kona Isle Condominium and extending three <br /> hundred thirty-six feet in a northerly direction. <br /> (5) Ali`i Drive, makai side, for a distance of one hundred feet on either side of each <br /> driveway to the Kona Magic Sands Apartment building and the driveway to <br /> White Sands Beach. <br /> (6) Ali`i Drive, makai side,beginning at a point five hundred feet Ka'u side of <br /> Lunapule Road and extending three hundred fifty feet in the Kau direction <br /> (7) Ali`i Drive in Kailua-Kona, mauka side, from Hualalai Road southerly for a <br /> distance of eight hundred twenty feet. <br /> (8) Ali`i Drive in Kailua-Kona, mauka side, along the concrete curb facing the <br /> banyan tree and facing the Kailua Bay seawall. <br />
