COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />BILL NO. 251 <br />ORDINANCE NO. . _ 105 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 11, DIVISION 2, SECTION 24- <br />310 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), <br />RELATING TO TRUCK ROUTES ON PRIVATE STREETS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 11, division 2, section 24 -310, schedule 14 (Reserved), <br />of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 24 -310. Schedule 14. [dam] Truck routes. <br />When properly sign posted, the following private streets or portions of private <br />streets are designated as truck routes: <br />Cal Hamakua <br />fb,) North Hilo <br />(c) South Hilo <br />(d) Ka`u <br />(1) Hawaiian Ocean View Estates Subdivision. <br />1. Any vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of more than <br />ten thousand pounds shall be restricted to the following street segments, <br />until that vehicle reaches the intersection with the nearest subdivision <br />road it can use to make a local delivery: <br />(A) Aloha Boulevard from Highway 11 to its intersection with Marlin <br />Boulevard. <br />Q Marlin Boulevard from its intersection with Aloha Boulevard to its <br />intersection with Kailua Boulevard. <br />(C) Kailua Boulevard from its intersection with Marlin Boulevard to <br />its intersection with King Kamehameha Boulevard. <br />(D) King Kamehameha Boulevard from its intersection with Kailua <br />Boulevard to its intersection with Highway 11. <br />(e) Kohala <br />(f) Kona <br />(g) Puna" <br />
