No. 44-13 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 10:45 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 44-13, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 44-13, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford via Communication <br /> No. 95 dated January 22, 2013, authorizes the acceptance of a monetary donation of$250 to the <br /> Hawai`i County Department of Parks and Recreation. These funds, donated by W.H. Shipman, <br /> will be used to purchase food and beverages for the Vulcan Baseball Clinic participants. <br /> Mr. Ilagan gave credit to Mr. Onishi for suggesting the waiving of all donations to Council. <br /> Several members of the Council are in support of the suggestion. <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawai`i County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the <br /> County, may accept gifts or donations of money. <br /> A letter of appreciation and a copy of this resolution will be sent to W.H.
