No. 118-13 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 1:34 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 118-13, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 118-13, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford, via Communication No. 286 <br /> dated May 16, 2013, authorizes the Finance Director to sell real property in the Kamakoa Nui <br /> Workforce Housing Community at Waikoloa to Habitat for Humanity West Hawai`i. <br /> The County of Hawai`i own real property in the Kamakoa Nui Workforce Housing Community <br /> designated by Tax Map Keys (3)6-8-030:206, 213, 215, 216, 222, and 223. The resolution authorizes <br /> the Finance Director to negotiate the sale of fee simple land to Habitat for Humanity West Hawai`i <br /> (Habitat), a nonprofit organization, whose mission is to empower families, build community and hope <br /> through home ownership for low income partner families.
