The purpose of this measure is to update the Hawaii County Code to <br /> match the conditions that exist in the field. The subject area of Wilson Street between Kilauea <br /> Avenue and Derby Lane is too narrow for parking on both sides of the road. The southeast side is <br /> currently signed as a no parking at anytime zone. The northwest side is open to parking from just <br /> after 5:00 a.m. up to 10:00 p.m. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24-281, Schedule 29. Parking <br /> prohibited during certain hours on certain streets, subsection (c), South Hilo, of the Hawai`i County <br /> Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is amended by deleting existing item and renumbering the <br /> subsequent items: <br /> R29) Wilson Street, except for northwest side, between Kilauea Avenue and Derby Lane, <br /> from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.] <br /> SECTION 3. The subject area along Derby Lane between Wilson <br /> Street and Hoku Street is too narrow for parking on both sides of the road.
