.'J+tY,9F N, • <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII i• 4:' %_.- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> •f•'. rte.....'``. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 337 14 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br /> RECREATION TO PURCHASE EQUIPMENT FOR CERTAIN RECREATIONAL <br /> FACILITIES IN PUNA. <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is responsible for the oversight, <br /> management and maintenance of nearly 200 recreational sites, cemetaries and other county <br /> owned and operated facilities; and <br /> WHEREAS, Puna is the fastest growing district in Hawai`i County, which causes heavy <br /> usage of recreational facilities such as the Pahoa Neighborhood Facility, Pahoa Aquatics Center, <br /> and the Hawaiian Beaches Pavillion; and <br /> WHEREAS, recreational facilities need to augment existing equipment and/or replace <br /> aged inventory with metal folding chairs, pop-up tents, tables, folding chair cart, Craftsman gas <br /> blower, ADA compliant stove and refrigerator; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to <br /> the Department of Parks and Recreation to purchase equipment for certain recreational facilities <br /> in Puna; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $7,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $7,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.500.5507.06 Department of Parks and Recreation . $7,000 <br /> Recreation Div Equipment <br /> 480 Misc.
