N'�7 <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII ‘ " STATE OF HAWAII <br /> *Tti4*. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 347 14 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL <br /> YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR <br /> AGREEMENT WITH THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF THE BIG ISLAND AND <br /> WITH GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF HAWAII, INC., TO IMPLEMENT THE HAWAII <br /> TEEN OUTREACH PROGRAM <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other <br /> obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one <br /> fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Prosecutor's Office is receiving federal funds to be used to implement the Hawaii <br /> Teen Outreach Program (HITOP) in the County of Hawaii; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Boys and Girls Club of the Big Island, and Goodwill Industries of Hawaii, Inc. are <br /> 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations selected through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to implement <br /> the HITOP program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi-year agreement with the Boys and <br /> Girls Club of the Big Island, and Goodwill Industries of Hawaii, Inc. in order to implement the HITOP <br /> program; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into multi-year agreement in order to allow <br /> the Prosecutor's Office to implement the Hawaii Teen Outreach Program. <br /> 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated obligations <br /> of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br />
