Miura <br />Deputy Director <br />re <br />q4 <br />un <br />co <br />The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is anticipated <br />to provide a $2,465,271 allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) <br />funds to the Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) for Program Year <br />(PY) 2015. The OHCD expects program income received or anticipated to be received <br />during the program year to provide a total of $2,681,196.52 of CDBG funds. <br />Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the United <br />States Department of Housing and Urban Development, approving and adopting the <br />2015-2019 County of Hawaii Consolidated/Action Plan for the Hawaii Community <br />Development Block Grant and Home Investment Partnership Programs, and authorizing <br />the Mayor to execute and submit the Plan in order to receive these funds. Also enclosed <br />is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating $2,681,196.52 <br />in anticipation of receiving these CDBG funds. <br />If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call Noel Fujimoto of the Office of <br />Housing and Community Development at 961-8379. <br />Deanna S.
