The proposed amendments are <br /> illustrated in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. 362-16, (material to be <br /> deleted is bracketed and stricken; material to be added is underscored). <br /> 1. The Enacting Clause is amended to read as follows: <br /> "NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br /> HAWAI`I, that under Chapter 2, Article 9, Section 2-120 (a) (2) of the Hawai`i County Code, <br /> the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to negotiate a [10 year] long-term lease(with <br /> renewal options for additional [two 10 year] terms)with the Hawai`i County Economic <br /> Opportunity Council, a nonprofit organization, without notice or appraisal, for 2.263 acres of <br /> property identified as the Old Job Corps site of Tax Map Key: (3)2-3-026:008." <br /> 2. The final WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows: <br /> "WHEREAS, Article 19, Section 2-120 (b) provides such lease of real property to <br /> nonprofit organizations may be made without notice or appraisal as required in Chapter 2, <br /> Article 19 of the Hawai`i County Code; [[and].]" <br /> A draft copy of Resolution No. 362-16, Draft 2, with these amendments incorporated therein is <br /> attached. <br /> Thank you. <br /> KE/wb S� <br /> att.
