These funds will be used to create a housing placement assistance program for <br /> homeless adults with mental illness. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this <br /> $10,000 to the OHCD's Mental Health Kokua account within the Housing Fund. <br /> The Office of Housing and Community Development is requesting that this bill be <br /> waived from the Finance Committee and be placed on the March 2, 2016 Council <br /> Agenda in order to expedite the processing of these funds.
