Clarkson from the Hamakua District to the <br /> Hawai'i County Windward Planning Commission. Mr. Clarkson is a 29-year resident of <br /> Hawai'i. From 2008 until his retirement in 2012, Mr. Clarkson was employed by <br /> Waikoloa Development as the Chief Engineer of Queens' Marketplace. <br /> Mr. Clarkson is the President of Paauilo Mauka Kalopa Community Association. He is <br /> the Vice President of Friends of Honokaa Pool, and the Board Chair of Imua Hamakua. <br /> He states that he is a Democrat. If confirmed, Mr. Clarkson will serve a vacant term to <br /> end on December 31, 2016. At that time, he will be eligible to be reappointed to a full <br /> year term to end on December 31, 2020.
