JNSV OF <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br />4Tp uF•N►•:! <br />BILL NO. 239 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 16 _104 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, OF THE <br />HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO <br />PARKING. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />SECTION 1. The purpose.of this amendment is to update the Hawaii County Code to <br />address public health and safety conditions. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-281, schedule 29, Parking <br />prohibited during certain hours on certain streets; tow -away zone, subsection (f), Kona, of the <br />Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended) is amended by adding the following item <br />and renumbering appropriately: <br />"() The County parking lot between Kuakini Highway and Likana Lane, <br />between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m." <br />SECTION 3. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring <br />need not be included. <br />SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br />to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br />applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or <br />application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />SECTION 5.
