This appointment was effective at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 5, 2016. Since 2010, Ms. Ung was the IT and Events Manager at the UH Hilo Conference Center at The Research Corporation of the University of Hawai'i in an administrative and managerial capacity in a computer system environment comparable to the County's system. Ms. Ung received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at the University of Maryland, University College and is a Professional Certified Web Designer Associate. Her resume is attached for your information. Ms. Ung will serve a term co-terminus with my tenure, which will end on December 7, 2020. Pursuant to Rule 5(6)(g) of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council of the County of Hawai'i, we respectfully request a waiver of this nomination through committee so that it may be considered by the full County Council on January 5, 2017.
