COUNTY OF HAWAII +� �'' � I STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 442 17 <br /> RESOLUTION CHANGING THE FULL TIME EQUIVALENT (FTE) <br /> STATUS OF A CUSTODIAN/GROUNDSKEEPER I POSITION <br /> FROM A QUARTER-TIME POSITION TO BECOME A HALF-TIME <br /> POSITION <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Police Department is requesting to <br /> change the FTE status of their Hamakua Custodian/Groundskeeper I position <br /> from a quarter-time position to become a half-time position; and <br /> WHEREAS, this change is needed in order to provide better recruitment <br /> and retention potential as well as to more accurately reflect current staffing <br /> utilization and needs; and <br /> WHEREAS, funds for this change in FTE status are by the unfunding of <br /> their quarter-time North Hilo Custodian/Groundskeeper I position; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> that position 00-04769, Custodian/Groundskeeper I, be changed from a quarter- <br /> time position, to become a half-time position. <br />
