These funds will be used to purchase self-contained battery- <br /> powered rescue tools for use by the Honoka`a Fire Company. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution to enter,into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill <br /> for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $35,000 grant. The <br /> Hawai`i Fire Department is requesting that this resolution and bill be waived from Finance <br /> Committee and be placed on the April 11, 2018 Council agenda to expedite the receipt of these <br /> funds.
