REPORT OF THE <br /> COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC WORKS AND <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION <br /> DATE: April 10, 2018 Re: Comm.No. 818/Bill No. 125 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 10:22 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 125, <br /> reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 125, transmitted by Council Member Dru Mamo Kanuha, via Communication 818, <br /> dated March 20, 2018, names a county park within Alii Kai Subdivision, situated at Tax Map <br /> Key: 7-6-019:034, and amends Chapter 15, Article 8, Section 15-68.1 of the Hawai`i County <br /> Code 1983 (2016 Edition; as amended), relating to the Parks and Recreational facility schedule. <br /> Alii Kai, Inc., donated this real property to the County of Hawai`i on December 3, 1997, via <br /> Resolution No. 178-97 for the purpose of developing a park. The park was developed and opened for <br /> public use on May 12, 2016.
