Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge Ibarra worked with the County of <br /> Hawai'i as its Corporation Counsel, Managing Director, and at the Prosecutor's Office <br /> where he became the first deputy prosecutor to staff the Kona office. <br /> Judge Ibarra'holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from Georgetown Law Center and a Juris <br /> Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law where he graduated with honors. <br /> Judge Ibarra states he is not a member of any political party.
