The purpose of <br /> this measure is to change the name of the second project from "Kula`imano and Papa'ikou <br /> Dewatering& Barminutor Replacement"to "Kula`imano, Papa`ikou &Hilo Dewatering& <br /> Barminutor Replacement"and to increase the authorized amount for this project from <br /> $2,700,000 to $7,500,000. This increase is due to the most recent estimated project <br /> construction cost and anticipated contingencies. The inclusion of"Hilo" in the project name <br /> is to reflect the that certain equipment used in this project will be designated as back-up <br /> equipment for the Hilo Wastewater Treatment Plant should the need arise.
