414 <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII - '''-A�•- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 252 19 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF FUNDS TO BE USED TOWARDS TRAVEL AND <br /> OTHER EXPENSES FOR CIO ROUNDTABLE & SECURITY SUMMITS <br /> ATTENDANCE TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF <br /> INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY. <br /> WHEREAS, the Center for Technology is donating funds to the County of Hawaii <br /> Department of Information Technology for travel and other expenses to attend the CIO <br /> Roundtable & Security Summits events; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii has been invited to participate in CIO Roundtable <br /> & Security Summits event panels and discussions with State and municipal IT leaders <br /> nationwide; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Department of Information Technology <br /> recommends approval of this donation by the Center for Technology; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides that the <br /> council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br /> personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, , in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of <br /> Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br />
