These employment contracts will be <br /> executed for four years, with optional additional extensions to deliver the recovery efforts from the <br /> 2018 Kilauea Eruption. Funding will be through disaster recovery funds provided to the County. <br /> It is anticipated that temporary personnel will be hired as needed through the course of the project to <br /> coordinate governmental and community stakeholders and facilitate implementation of interim and <br /> long-term strategies to support the 2018 Kilauea Eruption recovery efforts. <br /> The Planning Department requests that this resolution be waived from Finance Committee and be <br /> placed on the September 4, 2019 Council agenda in order to expedite this process.
