<br />COMMITTEE ON PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES <br />Friday, November 2, 2007, 10:30 a.m. <br />Corporation Counsel Conference Room <br />PRESENT: Michael Gleason, Chair; Lawrence Scadden, Vice-Chair; Laura Tobosa, <br />Secretary; Ted Yamanaka, James Souza <br />EXCUSED: Jack Matsui, Jean Navarro, Ronald Wagner-Wright <br />GUESTS: Malina Dravis-Tucker, Interpreter; Alisa Mitchener, Recreation Specialist- <br />Department of Parks and Recreation; Ofelia Pertubal, CNA; Sonia Scadden, <br />Teri-Spinola-Campbell, ADA Coordinator (Equal Opportunity Officer) <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 10:35 a.m. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />L. Scadden made a motion to accept the minutes of September 7, 2007. T. Yamanaka <br />seconded the motion. The motion was passed. <br />Diane Noda from Corporation Counsel introduced herself to the committee and stated that <br />she was unable to attend today's meeting, but if the committee had any legal concerns or <br />needed advice to call her at 961-8251, 961-8304 Ext. 114, or 345-8492 (office cell). <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ISSUES <br />None. <br />TREASURERS REPORT <br />T. Yamanaka made a motion to accept the treasurer's report as submitted. J. Souza <br />seconded the motion.
