Ka-ipo moved to approve the agenda as submitted. K. Peters seconded the motion. <br />The motion was passed. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />C. Ka-ipo moved to approve the July 21, 2006 minutes. J. Coburn seconded the motion. <br />The motion was passed. <br />TREASURER’S REPORT <br />The treasurer’s report was circulated. <br />K. Peters moved to accept the treasurer’s report. C. Ka-ipo seconded the motion. The <br />motion was passed. <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />None. <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br />A. Approval letter from Valerie Takata, Complex Area Superintendent, to conduct the <br />“Real Women” Creative Writing Competition in the Hilo/Laupahoehoe/Waiakea <br />Complex Area <br />B. Letter from Barbra Green, American Association of University Women, requesting <br />support for the Math/Science Conference for 7thgrade girls in East Hawaii <br />CSW decided to discuss this request on next month’s agenda. <br />Hawai‘i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br /> <br />
