Motion passed unanimously. <br />APPROVAL OF ADDENDUM AND/OR SUPPLEMENTAL AGENDA: <br />3.None <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON ITEMS LISTED ON AGENDA: <br />4. <br />Jon Olson reported that the Puna Community Development Plan would be available on the <br />th <br />County website the week of March 25. It includes enhancements to Pahoa Village and Town <br />Center, and additional reuse and recycling efforts. It also addresses a different access to the <br />Keaau Transfer Station and a 2-lane County Road out of Hawaiian Paradise Park. <br />CORRESPONDENCE/REPORTS/DISCUSSION: <br />5. <br />Abandoned Vehicle Program Report <br /> (attached to original minutes) <br />Keith Harris, West Hawai`i Abandoned Vehicle Coordinator, stated the goal of the Program <br />is to move more vehicles off the roads. <br />The staff continues to work with subdivisions to remove their abandoned vehicles. <br />The new Amnesty Program flyer was distributed (attached to original minutes). <br />It was noted that there are a number of private haulers now offering free vehicle removal <br />from private properties. <br />Technical Services Section Report (Taken out of order) <br /> (Attached to original minutes) <br />LARGE CAPACITY CESSPOOL (LCC) REPLACEMENT PROJECTS: Nelson Ho gave <br />updates on the Naalehu/Pahala, Queen Liliuokalani, Honokaa and Komohana Heights LCC <br />projects. <br />Wastewater Division Report (Taken out of order) <br />(attached to original minutes) <br />KEALAKEHE SEWAGE PUMP STATION ODOR CONTROL: Ho indicated that this was <br />At the January meeting, the Commission asked when this project <br />not a priority project. <br />would begin so Henry will follow up with Saito and transmit his reply to the <br />Commissioners. <br />SEWER RATE INCREASE: R.
