SAFETY COMMENTS <br />M Drugs — Alcohol — Loitering - Violence <br />0 Traffic — infrastructure (sidewalk, roads, lighting and signage) <br />Police: Presence and Performance. Crime. <br />0 Safety in General <br />Drugs — Alcohol — Loitering - Violence <br />D- Again need more "spirit of Aloha" and less alcohol. <br />D- Again, far too many shady characters walking the streets. Drunks all around Cash & Carry. I <br />try my best to avoid walking the streets of old town. <br />D- Aggressive panhandlers & drunks <br />D- As long as drug use is seen regularly on our public streets the area will always seem unsafe. <br />D- Can we get the drug dealer away from town? Walking into the bank is a challenge. Going <br />into the bookstore is also. <br />D- Clean up of drug dealing and loiterers around banks needed. <br />D- Dealers and punk are everywhere. <br />D- Doesn't feel that welcoming and safe. Feels dangerous at times from gangsters on corners <br />and drug dealers and those on drugs, ice, pot, alcohol, etc... <br />D- get rid of druggies <br />D- Got to get the ice out <br />D- I don't feel safe enough to walk alone at night because I am a female. <br />D- I feel fairly safe during daylight hours but don't at night. There are too many individuals who <br />sit or stand in walkways /sidewalks and look scary. <br />D- Ice is ruining our kids and community, and the police are flying around busting medical <br />marijuana patients with their public safety budget. <br />D- In the heart of town there are too many street people hanging out ready to mug someone & <br />steal their stuff. As we have helped several victims. <br />D- Is it safer to walk the streets at night. there is a lot of rowdy, verbal exchange in front of <br />musical nightclubs <br />D- It can be dangerous after sundown. <br />D- It's pretty safe - it seems that the meth problem has gotten better. I'm glad to see that... <br />D- just by walking around in town i don't feel safe everyone dont look like they can be trusted <br />they homeless people and drug addicts that is homeless because of thee drugs it seems like <br />"the getto" <br />D- just stand at cash & carry 5 min - oh yea - even hookers & pimps <br />D- Look at the drug use <br />D- lots of drunk drivers in Puna <br />D- Lots of teens wander Pahoa.
