G <br />Kailua-Kona, Hawai‘i <br />May 14, 2018 <br />CALL TO ORDERThe regular meeting of the Public Access, Open <br />Space,and Natural Resources Preservation <br />Commission was called to order at 10:07 a.m. at the <br />West Hawai‘i Civic Center, in Building Gby CHR. <br />Tomich. <br />Present:Mr. Kekaulike Tomich, Chair (CHR.) <br />Ms. E. Koohan Paik Mander, Member <br />Ms. Shellie Bee Allen Naungayan, Member <br />Dr. Wayne Frank, Member <br />Mr. Rick Warshauer, Member <br />Ms. Cynthia Nazara, Member <br />Ms. Susan Wells Fischer, Member <br />Absent:Ms. René Siracusa, Vice Chair (V. CHR.) <br />Mr. Kai’ena Bishaw II, Member <br />County of Hawai’iMs. Maxine Cutler, Commission Secretary <br />Support Staff:Ms. Amy Self, Deputy Corporation Counsel <br />Mr. Hamana Ventura, Property Manager, Department <br />of Finance <br />STATEMENTS FROM CHR. TOMICHdirected the commission to proceed to <br />THE PUBLIC ON the next order of business, Statements from the <br />AGENDA ITEMS <br />Public. The following individualsregistered to speak <br />and came forward when called by Chr. Tomich. <br />Toni Withington: represents four groups. They are <br />‘O Kohala, Malama Kohala Kahakai, and Maika’i <br />Kamakani ‘O Kohala. She is here to speak on three <br />agenda items. <br />First, Ms. Withington comments regarding the March <br />12, 2018 drafted minutes clarifying that number of <br />parcels have changedin the Hapu’u to Kapanaia <br />Page 1 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
