HAWAII COUNTY CHARTER COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> 32nd Session <br /> August 29, 1979 <br /> Hilo, Hawaii <br /> The thirty-second session of the Hawaii County Charter <br /> Commission was called to order at 4: 10 p.m. in the Hawaii <br /> County Councilroom, Hawaii County Building, Hilo, Hawaii by <br /> Mr. Kimiaki Sakata, Chairman. <br /> The roll recorded the following: <br /> Present: Mr. Richard Ishida <br /> Mrs. Amy Iwamoto <br /> Mrs. Gloria Kobayashi <br /> Mr. Akira Omonaka <br /> Mr. Kimiaki Sakata <br /> Mr. Herman Sensano <br /> Mr. Joseph Trulson (Excused from meeting <br /> at 4:40 p.m. ) <br /> Mr. Matsuo Yanaga <br /> Mr. Basilio Yagong <br /> Absent Mr. Harlan Cadinha <br /> and Mr. Spencer Kalani Schutte <br /> Excused: <br /> Also Mr. Bill Kikuchi , The Kikuchi Group <br /> Present: Mr. Yasuki Arakaki , Deputy County Clerk <br /> Mr. Stuart Oda, Attorney <br /> Ms. Frances Higa, Research Assistant <br /> Mrs. Joan Carnett, Secretary <br /> APPROVAL The Chair called for the approval of minutes <br /> OF MINUTES: dated August 14, 1979 and August 20, 1979. <br /> Mrs. Iwamoto made the motion <br /> to approve the minutes as <br /> presented. Seconded by Mr. Trulson <br /> and unanimously carried. <br /> BUSINESS OF CHAIRMAN SAKATA: We will go into the business <br /> THE DAY: of the day which will be thereview of the <br /> newspaper supplement with Mr. Kikuchi. This will <br /> be for a September 16 publication date and we will <br /> call on Mr. Kikuchi at this time. <br />
