The following <br />persons were present: <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Action Committee Members Present : Diane Kaneali‘i (Chair), Ruth Smith (Vice - Chair), Kevin <br />McLaughlin, Julia Ann Alos, Pete Hendricks , Tristie Licoan , and William Sanborn. <br />Action Committee M embers Absent - Excused: Mark Gordon <br />Staff Planners : April Surprenant, Bethany Morrison, Christian Kay, Eric Cook, Hans Santiago, Heather <br />Bartlett, Kamuela Plunkett , Keiko Mercado, Kevin Sullivan, LeAna Gloor, and Natasha Soriano . <br />Hawai‘i Alliance for Community - Based Economic Development [HACBED] Contractors : Eden Jablon , <br />and Keoki Noji. <br />Members of the public : 11 <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: None. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS: None. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS : None. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br />Vice - Chair Smith moved to approve the minutes of the Ma y 25 , 2019 meeting as submitted . Second by <br />Committee Member Kimura . The motion to approve the mi nute s as submitted pa ssed with 7 votes aye, <br />0 vot es nay . <br />BUSINESS: <br />Committee Member Hendricks moved to reorder the agenda items to hear business items 2 and 3 first. <br />Second by Committee Member Licoan . The motion to reorder agenda items passed with 7 votes aye, 0 <br />votes nay. <br />1 . G e n e r a l P l a n C o m p r e h e n s i v e R e v i e w a n d M i n i S p e a k o u t W o r k s h o p <br />Planner Morrison gave a brief presentation to provide an update about the General Plan <br />comprehensive review process. In her presentation , she explained the history of the County’s <br />community planning efforts.
