Applicant: John L. <br />Hetherington of HawaiÒi Design Group. Land Owners: Gregory Tr., <br />LLC; PFP Anekona LP, LRG Real Estate LP. TMK(s): 7-5-009:025 and 027. Located at <br />75-5819 AliÒi Drive, Kailua-Kona, HawaiÒi, at the Coconut Grove Marketplace. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation <br />Ms. Newlon oriented the Commissioners regarding the subject and surrounding <br />properties on the location map, and described the proposed project. She said that on <br />th <br />August 11 the Commission approved the applicantÓs previous proposal to use two vinyl <br />awnings with steel frames to cover the subject dining area between two buildings; <br />however, the applicant has since submitted a new plan proposing <br />instead, which is designed to match the style and color of the northern building. She said <br />that this plan requires a Special Management Area Assessment and an amendment to <br />their Planned Unit Development (PUD) Permit; the Planning Department has determined <br />that the original Special Management Area Use Permit for Coconut Grove Marketplace <br />would cover the proposed project, but the amendment to the PUD P <br />1 <br /> <br />
