Minutes of Meetings of February 13, 2012 <br />REPORTS <br />1) LAND USE PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT (10 minutes) – Rosalind Newlon, NKCDP <br />Project Manager will report on Planning Dept. permits received in the previous month for <br />the North Kohala district. <br />2) INVESTIGATIVE COMMITTEE WILL PROVIDE AN UPDATE ON THE PLANS FOR A <br />COMMUNITY MEETING AND IMPROVING COMMUNICATIONS WITHIN THE <br />COMMUNITY(15 minutes) -The investigative committee will provide an update on the <br /> <br />plans for a community meeting and improving communications within the community. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />3) REVIEW DRAFT LETTER FROM ACTION COMMITTEE REGARDING REQUEST FOR <br />IMPORTANT AGRICULTURAL LANDS (IAL) TO BE IDENTIFIED AND MAPPED (10 <br />minutes) – The NKCDP AC members will review a draft letter requesting that IAL be <br /> <br />identified and mapped consistent with Strategy 1.8 of the NKCDP. <br />4) ORIENTATION FOR NEW ACTION COMMITTEE MEMBERS (15 minutes) – the <br /> <br />NKCDP AC members will review the duties and responsibilities of AC members. <br />5) DISCUSS SUBCOMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS (10 Minutes) – The NKCDP AC will <br /> <br />Hawai`i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br />www.cohplanningdept.com planning@co.hawaii.hi.us <br /> <br />
