Marni Herkes motioned to approve <br />21 <br />and Bob Ward seconded. Unanimous approval given. <br />22 <br />BUSINESS OF COMMITTEE <br />23 <br />1. KCDP Implementation. <br /> <br />24 <br />a. Update on the Kona Judiciary. <br />25 <br />Margaret Masunaga, Deputy Planning Director, provided the AC with an update of the <br />26 <br />‘ <br />Kona Judiciary. Information provided by the West Hawaii Bar Association, the <br />27 <br />Governor’s Liaison, and the Chief Justice. There are concerns regarding the proposed <br />28 <br />timelines for some of the proposed projects/activities. The local legal community is <br />29 <br />requesting that there be a committee formed that will help to guide the design and process. <br />30 <br />DAGS has provided the following timeline for the Judiciary <br />31 <br />8/2012 Design Consultant Firm Selection Completed and the land transfer process <br />32 <br />begins <br />33 <br />2/13 to 12/13 Subdivision Process thru the County <br />34 <br />6/2014 Award Construction Contract <br />35 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br />
