With no discussion the minutes were <br />23 <br />deemed approved. <br />24 <br />BUSINESS OF COMMITTEE <br />25 <br /> Reports. <br />1. <br />26 <br /> <br />a.Permit Activity Comments from Action Committee <br />27 <br /> <br />i.Communication 2013-1: Gregory S. Cameron Trust, VAR-12-000115. Tax Map Key: 3/6- <br />28 <br />5-012-013 (65-1560 Kawaihae Rd., Kamuela, HI 96743). Request for Comments from <br />29 <br />Planning Director. Applicant seeks variance from Chapter 25, Zoning, Section 25-5-7 <br />30 <br />Minimum Yards and Section 25-4-4-44(a), Permitted Projections into Yards and Open <br />31 <br />Space Requirements (Encroachment into Front and East Side Yard Setbacks). <br />32 <br />John Hoover and Margaret Horwatt, as assigned by the SKCDP AC, reviewed the request <br />33 <br />and decided to make no comment. The encroachments are within the setbacks of the <br />34 <br />property and have existed since the building was permitted in 1958. <br />35 <br />Concern was expressed that consideration should made regarding the future expansion of the <br />36 <br />road and how that would affect the structure.
