Bldg. E, 2nd Floor <br />West Hawai'i Civic Center <br />74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway <br />Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i 96740 <br />Roll Call: <br />1. Members Present: Hiram Rivera, Douglas Payne, Greg Ogin, Barbara <br />DeFranco, Keoki Schattauer, and Kari Kimura. <br />2. Planning Department: Bobby Command, Terry Dunlap and Ali Catalano <br />3. Public in attendance: Ken Melrose, Jim McClean, Jeff Zimpfer, Kenneth J. <br />Van Bergen, and Janice Palma Glennie. <br />The meeting was called to order by the chair Greg Ogin and introductions of AC <br />members followed. <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC REGARDING ITEMS ON AGENDA <br />Janice Palma Glennie spoke in regard to the adhoc subcommittees and the General <br />Plan review. She stated that she thinks that the General Plan should include CDP <br />specifics, and that overall this seems like an island wide goal, including the input <br />from the University of Hawaii students. <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS <br />1. Minutes from the Meeting on March 25th, 2015 Meeting <br />Curtis Tyler made a motion to approve the minutes as circulated, and Keoki <br />Schattauer seconded that motion. The motion was carried unanimously. <br />PRESENTATIONS TO ACTION COMMITTEE: <br />1. None. <br />BUSINESS OF COMMITTEE: ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION AND ACTION <br />1. Report from the first Adhoc Subcommittee (Greg Ogin, Kari Kimura, and <br />Barbara DeFranco) on outreach, economic development, and TOD activities <br />of the Kona CDP as it relates to the General Plan. <br />It was made clear by Chair Greg Ogin that this is just a report, and there <br />
