Persons wishing to provide oral testimony are asked to <br />submit a completed request form to the Puna CDP project manager prior to the completion of each public <br />testimony portion of the meeting. Oral testimony shall be limited to three (3) minutes in length per agenda item <br />during the Public Testimony on Agenda Items portion of the meeting or immediately prior to an agenda item, <br />subject to the discretion of the Chair of the Puna CDP Action Committee. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Regular Meeting on November 10, 2015. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />(5 min) <br />1. Public Access, Open Space & Natural Resources Preservation Commission (PONC): <br />Representatives from PONC shall provide the Action Committee with a brief presentation <br />about the Commission and nomination of properties by the public for 2016. The AC will form <br />a subcommittee to recommend Puna properties for nomination to PONC. (20 min) <br />2. Communication No. 2016 -1, 2016 -2, & 2016 -3: Connectivity and Emergency Response <br />Subcommittee (CERS): Members of the subcommittee will inform the AC on their recent <br />activities. The subcommittee minutes consists of general subcommittee topics including the <br />following: <br />- Update on Ad hoc Committee pertaining to Connectivity Locations <br />- Discussion on need to inform additional legislators <br />- Discussion on Resolution 351 -15 - providing right and left turn lanes from Highway 11 <br />into Hawaiian Acres and from Hawaiian Acres to Highway 11 <br />- Discussion on upper Puna connectivity locations <br />- Additional connectivity locations as proposed by subcommittee members (10 min) <br />3. Volcano Long Range Plan Subcommittee (VLRPS): Members of the subcommittee will <br />inform the AC on their recent activities.
