Bethany Morrison, serving as a non-voting Chairperson for the Island - <br />6 wide Convening of CDP ACs, called the H6mdkuo Community Development Plan (HCDP) Action <br />7 Committee (AC) to order at 4:06 p.m. Due to restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic, this meeting <br />8 was held via the Zoom interactive video platform. <br />9 The following persons were present <br />10 ROLL CALL <br />11 Action Committee Members Present: Brad Kurokawa (Chair), Crystal Kua, Robert Nishimoto, and Tawn <br />12 Keeney. <br />13 Action Committee Members Absent -Excused: Nicolette Hubbard, Carol Ignacio, Jeff McKnight, and <br />14 Rhonda Pollard. <br />15 Planning Department Staff: April Surprenant (Long Range Division Manager); Planners - Kara Bocher, <br />16 Eric Cook, Rob Leasure, Keiko Mercado, Bethany Morrison, and Kamuela Plunkett. <br />17 Hawai'i County Council: Holeka Inaba, Ashley Kierkiewicz, Heather Kimball, Sue Lee Loy, Tim Richards, <br />18 and Rebecca Villegas. <br />19 Members of the public: Members of the public observed the meeting via the YouTube livestream. The <br />20 livestream is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qp N6DOUel. <br />21 ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: None. <br />22 ANNOUNCEMENTS: None. <br />23 PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS: <br />24 Long -Range Planning Staff member Rob Leasure read into record the following written testimony, <br />25 which were submitted in advance of the meeting. The parties who submitted the written testimony <br />26 were not present. <br />27 1. Communication 2020-01 from Kupuna for Mo`opuna to convey an urgent call to establish a Hilo <br />28 Community Development Plan. <br />29 2.
